Research

I am interested in consumer behaviour, saving, retirement and the economics of ageing. Topics that I have investigated include: the relation between estimating equations at the micro and macro levels, the effects of credit market imperfections on consumption and saving, the analysis of cyclical episodes using micro-data covering long periods of time, the analysis of household portfolio choice, the way retirement affects consumption. Teaching

I teach courses in Econometrics and Financial Economics to undergraduate students with a major in statistics and economics (see  http://www.statistica.unipd.it for details and teaching material). I also chair the Ph.D. School in Economics and Management (see http://www.decon.unipd.it/dottorato/eng/index_new.html).
